Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Ijmali website (ijmali.app) and the Ijmali app for Android (together, "Ijmali"). By using Ijmali you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Ijmali.

1. What Ijmali is

Ijmali is a free price comparison and information service, run from Cairo, Egypt. It shows listings from independent online shops and estimates what each item costs delivered to your country, including shipping, customs duty and VAT. There is no account and no sign-up. The app shows the same pages as the website and adds a search that runs on your phone.

2. Ijmali does not sell anything

Ijmali is not a shop, an agent or a marketplace, and is not a party to any purchase. When you choose an offer, you buy from the shop on the shop's own website, under the shop's own terms. Payment, delivery, warranty, returns and refunds are entirely between you and the shop.

3. Prices and delivered totals are estimates

Prices are read from the shops and can change at any time. Shipping, customs, VAT and clearance are our estimates (see How it works). The amount you actually pay is decided by the shop, the carrier and your country's customs. Always confirm the final price on the shop's own page before you buy. Results found by the app's search on your phone come straight from the shops' pages and are shown as found.

4. Listings, photos and trademarks

Product names, photos, descriptions and brand names come from the shops and belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean that a shop or brand endorses Ijmali, or that Ijmali endorses them. The Ijmali name, logo and the site's own text and design belong to Ijmali.

5. Links and affiliate commissions

Offers link to shops' websites, which Ijmali does not control. Some links carry an affiliate tag: if you buy after following one, the shop may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Each such offer is marked, and commissions never change the ranking.

6. Acceptable use

You may use Ijmali for your own shopping and research. Please do not copy the catalogue in bulk, send automated requests at high volume, try to get around the site's protections, or use Ijmali for anything unlawful. We may limit or block access that harms the service for other people.

7. Price alerts and notifications

If you watch an item, Ijmali may send you a notification when its price changes. You can stop alerts at any time by removing the item from your watch list or turning notifications off in your browser or phone settings.

8. Availability

Ijmali is provided as it is, free of charge, and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ijmali and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using Ijmali or relying on its information, including any purchase from a shop, any difference between our estimate and the amount charged, or Ijmali being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
